"Saw The Tourists the night after seeing Santana at Wembley. I was at the front next to the band (unlike the view I had of Carlos Santana who could have been father christmas for all I know) Annie and Dave were awesome that night. Hot, sticky, spitty, wild night. I was lucky enough to play on the Stage many times in 82/83 as 'Me' supporting Thomas Dolby, and Gen X amomgst others. The changing room directly behind the stage had to be seen to be believed! A guy called Kevin was the manager - I often shared a beer with Lemmy in the bar, and also got to know Alexis Korner who also sseemed to spend some time at the bar. Happy Days! "
