"I used to go and see Yes pretty regularly at the Marquee Club, and when Bill Bruford was going back to Leeds University before their first album they were looking for a drummer to replace him. I went backstage to see Jon Anderson, he said 'Give me a call Tuesday'. Never called him back. And I often wonder how my life would have been different had I gone for that and got it."
