Jeff Summers of Statetrooper

"The British scene at that time was very much dominated by the Hair band era, and we were of course part of that era! It was a lot of fun back then and the London scene at that time was based around a big drinking culture, part of which revolved around the Marquee Club in Wardour Street, Soho in London. This was a great experience and I was lucky enough to play the Marquee many times and see some great bands there: AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Gillan, Krokus... To name but a few! Every weekend when we were not touring or recording was spent at the Marquee, with a few late night afters at either the "St Maritz" Club or The"Funny Farm" late night musos drinking establishment."
