In 1976 the National Jazz, Blues & Rock Festival featured about 30 bands, including Gong, Rory Gallagher, Osibisa, Manfred-Mann, Van Der Graaf Generator, Eddie And The Hot Rods, AC/DC and Ted Nugent. This year the increase of alcohol consumation and fights with cans provoked by a minoritiy of people in the audience started to become a big issue.
