Memories on this night:
"It was after 1966, the second trip to London. We lived in Drury Lane (Inn's of Sports Mission). A Mister Prentice, the manager of the club, told us about Marquee Club. I think, Prentice was years ago the manager of the Swinging Blue Jeans. So we went to Wardour Street Soho, not knowing, what we would see. In front of the club a long queue. We asked a fellow: "What's going on?" and he: "John Mayall, he is fantastic". So we went in. An unforgetable night. A supporting group "Ten Years After". We never heard that name before. When we left Marquee Club, we ere excited of both performances. Ten Years After with Alvin Lee (guitar, vocal), Leo Lyons (bass), Chic Churchill (organ), Ric Lee (drums). Later: John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers. John Mayall (organ, harmonica, guitar), Mick Taylor (guitar), John McVie (bass), Aynsley Dunbar (drums), Dick Heckstall-Smith (sax), Rip Kant (sax). "
